Reflected colors

Before bed, I picked up a book about watercoloring techniques. Having trouble falling asleep, I thought this book might do the trick. Then this caught my attention: A red object appears red because it had absorbed all colors of rays except the red one which gets reflected onto our eyes to appear “red”. And a black appears black because it had absorbed all the white light. How ironic? It seems that everything appears to be anything but itself. It’s like the people. Those who appear angry are scared on the inside.  Those who appear happy, sad on the inside. When a person does not want to show true self and acts in a certain way to hide it, very act only points right at it.
